Introducing a local events calendar

Since moving to Deloraine in 2023, I’ve found it difficult to discover and attend all of the little events that our great community holds. I’ve often found out about them after they’ve already happened!

In order to make life easier for myself and others, I’ve built an events calendar. You can search by time or keyword. And there is a full calendar for the day, week and month to see what’s going on around us.

With plans to have a printed newspaper in the next couple of months, I will integrate the events that are uploaded onto the website into the newspaper. That means that your event could be delivered to every house in Deloraine and Westbury. And it also means that people should be able to plan ahead and work out which events they will attend over the next month.

If you want other people to know more about your event, please contact me and we can upload them for now. Functionality allowing anyone to upload their own event is on the to-do list but will take a bit of time.

Any suggestions on additional events to include on the calendar are encouraged! As are any edits or adjustments to existing events.
