At the heart of it, the Deloraine Post Office is much like any other. Offering basic post office services like sending and receiving mail, passport photographs, bill pay, with a variety of products for sale, this post office is located smack in the centre of Deloraine. Getting into the shop is easy with plenty of car parks along the street.
Housed in a beautiful brick building that radiates history, and beautiful greenery on the street, the shop is inviting. As are the friendly and helpful people who work there.
Letter to the Editor
For locals, PO Boxes are available in limited supply. And like any other post shop, customers are able to pay bills easily. There is a red post box out the front to easily drop letters and small parcels.
Customer Service
For the Deloraine Post Office, the friendly and honest nature of the customer service can be summed up in a succinct example. When asked for an infant passport photograph, the lovely lady behind the counter suggested the photo place up the road because they did a better job. Sending a sale up the street for the benefit of the customer (and the other business*) is a breath of fresh air.
