Aged Care Deloraine has recently been successful in securing a major grant for their Grenoch Home through the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing’s ‘Aged Care Capital Assistance Program’ (ACCAP).
Aged Care Deloraine’s ambitious plan is to expand Grenoch Home by an additional 40 beds, each with its own ensuite, ensuring the organisation can continue to meet the growing needs of the Meander Valley community for many years to come.

The redevelopment of Kanangra was funded through the Commonwealth Governments Aged Care Approvals Round (ACAR) grant scheme, with an investment of $3.9million. Aged Care Deloraine has also been generously supported by the Rotary Pratt Foundation bringing the total investment to over four million dollars. Works are expected to be finished at Kanangra by around October 2026.
Aged Care Deloraine aims to play an important role in helping members of the Meander Valley community age with dignity. The investment in Grenoch Home is intended to strengthen residential care and contribute to the wellbeing of the wider region, with potential benefits such as creation of local jobs, easing pressure on health services, and offering support for local families.
