The new LED light poles are now installed and illuminating all courts at the Deloraine Tennis Club, a welcome upgrade as the summer season gets underway.
The club’s facilities have been steadily upgraded over the last few years thanks to our mighty sponsor Deloraine Bendigo bank and a Tasmanian government sports grant to make it happen. Although we are not stopping there. Our next ambition is to upgrade the two hard surface courts. Any grants and sponsorships are most welcomed!

The Deloraine Tennis Club is going strong with very modest membership fees, three social tennis events a week and mid week ladies pennants. They are enjoyed by many members. There is a huge increase in casual bookings since we set up an online booking system and lowered the fee to $10/hour. All four courts can be used for night tennis, perfect for hitting after work or study. We have provided some racquets and balls so that anyone can pop in for a hit.
Tennis is a great sport that you can enjoy over your lifetime in a small welcoming country club like Deloraine. We are working to be more accessible and approachable by anyone, especially young people who have never held a racquet. It’s a great opportunity for family or friends, leave devices at home and have fun playing tennis this summer!
