Crowd favourite Chris Bayles will be back to showcase his impressive trials bike riding skills. One of the show’s most anticipated events, the Wheelie Bin Race, also returns to the main program. This chaotic and light-hearted race sees teams of two race to assemble their bins before pushing a teammate through a course in a test of speed, balance and teamwork.
Adding to the fun, the mascot race will feature representatives from local clubs and businesses competing to be crowned Deloraine’s fastest mascot. Entry for both races will be available on the day at the Chilli FM kids tent.
The popular “crazy bikes” are also making a comeback, inviting both children and adults to test their coordination and creativity as they attempt to ride an eclectic mix of unusual bicycles.
The Barambogie Cattleman’s Challenge will be a key feature of the Tasmanian Mountain Cattlemen’s Site. The event offers a unique look into the skills and traditions of bush horsemanship, with riders navigating rugged terrain, obstacles and precision whip-cracking in a showcase of strength and finesse.

In a major highlight, the show will host the 2025 AWPA Heene Tasmanian Whipcracking Championship. This state and interstate competition begins at 10am and will run into the afternoon, drawing competitors from across Tasmania and the mainland as they vie for top honours.
Families can expect a wide range of entertainment designed to engage attendees of all ages. Attractions will include Laser Tag, a Gladiator Joust, a ‘Toxic Meltdown’, and a variety of games and activities organised by the Deloraine Youth Group. The Chilli FM Children’s Fun Tent and Deloraine Primary School’s marquee will also offer activities tailored to younger visitors.
Food lovers will find plenty to enjoy with a range of food vans on site. The Entertainment Area will provide a relaxing atmosphere, featuring live performances from local talents including Jason Taylor, the Deloraine Junior and Development Band, Dylan Nichols, Shakale Mammas and Cecilia Wickham & Meisha Porter. Refreshments will be available from Drifters End Distillery.
As always, traditional competitions remain at the heart of the Deloraine Show. Exhibitions in sheep, beef cattle, poultry, horses, heavy horses, home industries and wood chopping will run throughout the day, alongside equestrian events in the main arena, continuing the event’s deep agricultural roots.
Gates open at 9am. Entry is $15 for adults, $5 for children, and free for those under five years of age.
