TrailGraze, a weekend event celebrating the producers of North West Tasmania, returns for its fifth year from 10 to 12 April with a series of farm tours, tastings and immersive food experiences across the region.

Presented by Tasting Trail Tasmania, TrailGraze invites visitors to meet the farmers and makers behind the region’s food and experience produce where it is grown, raised and Crafted.

Letter to the Editor

Across the weekend, producers will open their doors for a series of bookable experiences that give visitors the opportunity to step onto farms, vineyards and orchards to hear the stories behind North West Tasmania’s food.

TrailGraze activations will be hosted by producers across the region including 41º South, Meander Valley Vineyard, Ghost Rock Wines, Anvers Tasmania, Spreyton Cider Co, Tasmanian Pickled Onions, Hazelbrae Hazelnuts, Alchymia Distillery, La Villa Wines, The Truffle Farm, Rusty Roof Vineyard and Eastford Creek.

Experiences range from chocolate-making workshops and vineyard grape stomping to guided tastings, orchard harvest tours, truffle hunts and a hosted brunch celebrating local produce – offering visitors a behind-the-scenes look at the people and places shaping North West Tasmania’s food.

The weekend begins on Friday night with the TrailGraze Feast, a fire-led long-table dinner overlooking Bass Strait where chefs cook over flame while producers share the stories behind the ingredients being served.
